Here is another rendering of the newest development near us. I learned that the development will also include a 24,000 square foot office building.

There will be a pavilion, round-about, stream in back, pedstrian bridge leading to homes, retail and restaurants. I don't know if any businesses have signed on, but I understand construction begins in January 2009. According to the website, it shoudl be done in the spring.

Fountain Plaza

More details have been released for the second retail plaze on the main road near our house. Fountain Plaza will be a $10 million extention of Mt. Juliet Commons. (12904 Lebanon Road)

The drawings look classy. I'm excited about having a round-about so close. The entry will also feature a fountain in the middle.

According to the Tennessean: "The 36,000-square-foot project has been designed by Lebanon architect Michael Manous as a lifestyle center, an open-air shopping plaza that features amenities and stores aimed at upscale shoppers."

There will also be about 111 townhomes and a dozen single family homes.

Fountain Plaza will be built right across the road from the long entry to the girls' school.
